Why do you need RedCARE?
If you have invested in a monitored alarm system, you've had the foresight to realise that a traditional 'bell on the wall' isn't good enough.
But regardless of how sophisticated your security seems, have you analysed the reliability of the link between your alarm system and the people that have to react to your needs?
For a start, serious breakdowns in security can occur if, for example, your alarm system is only monitored once every hour. Added to this, most monitored systems depend on equipment that dials the Alarm Receiving Centre when an incident occurs. If the equipment experience delays or criminals cut the line, the message doesn't get through.
Even an engaged phone line or exchange can leave your premises vulnerable. RedCARE solves these problems, offering the most secure form of alarm monitoring available.
How does RedCARE work?
The RedCARE service continuously checks that your alarm panel can communicate with the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). it does this by monitoring the BT telephone line that links a professionally installed alarm system in your premises to the ARC, every second of every day, 365 days a years. If an alarm is activated RedCARE acts within seconds transmitting an appropriate signal to the ARC.
Unlike other monitored systems, RedCARE detects any problem, such as malicious line cutting, that might stop the alarm panel communicating with the ARC. Signals are transmitted within seconds through the network to alert the ARC, which then contacts the appropriate emergency service. With up to eight channels to differentiate between eight different situations, you can be sure that RedCARE will help to summon the right response every time.

Continuous monitoring RedCARE monitors your alarm system every second of every hour, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. |

Line cut detection RedCARE will detect if the telephone line is maliciously cut or if the alarm panel is unable to communicate and inform the Alarm Receiving Centre. |

Works over existing BT speech line RedCARE doesn't require dedicated alarm lines*. |

No call charges RedCARE doesn't generate any call charges, even for setting and unsetting the system, as it doesn't rely on equipment that has to dial the Alarm Receiving Centre. |

World class levels of resilience The dedicated RedCARE network is duplicated and alarms are transmitted from the BT exchange through two distinct routes, providing even more security. |

Unaffected by future code changes Because it doesn't have to dial the Alarm Receiving Centre, RedCARE won't be affected by future code changes. |

Rapid alarm transmission Alarms are transmitted through the RedCARE network to the Alarm Receiving Centre in a matter of seconds. |

Transmits up to eight different alarm channels To make sure you get the quickest, most appropriate response, the RedCARE transmitter offers up to eight channels to differentiate between fire, personal attack and intrusion - in fact, anything your alarm system can sense. |
RedCARE is the most successful alarm signalling system of its kind in the world
RedCARE is acknowledged and endorsed by insurers as the most secure method of alarm signalling
*If there are three or more oter devices connected to the line, or if the line is also used for equipment that transmits data, such as a fax or a modem, a separate line should be used for the RedCARE service.
